Once you’ve started to reset your mindset, the next step is to get real with your current reality.
Not in a judgmental way.
Not in a “look how far behind I am” way.
But in a clear, honest, kind way.
Because awareness is what gives you power. You can’t realign with where you want to go until you take stock of where you are.
This is your mid-year inventory — not for shame, but for clarity.
It’s time to pause, reflect, and ask yourself two simple but profound questions:
“What’s working?” and “What’s not?”
What’s Working?
Let’s start here on purpose. Too often, we skip right to what’s broken. But there’s always something going well—some win, habit, mindset, or choice that deserves to be noticed.
- What decisions have supported your growth?
- What routines, boundaries, or relationships are nourishing you?
- What are you proud of from the past few months?
When you name what’s working, you get to build on it.
What’s Not Working?
Now comes the part that takes honesty—and courage.
Where are you out of alignment?
What’s draining your energy, creating resistance, or keeping you stuck?
This isn’t about blaming yourself or others. It’s about becoming aware of the patterns, behaviors, or beliefs that aren’t serving you anymore.
You don’t have to fix it all today.
But when you name it, you reclaim your ability to shift it.
Realignment Begins with Awareness
Think of your life like a sailboat. You don’t need to overhaul the entire ship. Sometimes, all you need is a small course correction—a few degrees in a new direction—that will take you to a whole new destination over time.
Ask yourself:
- What do I want more of in my life?
- What do I need to release or recalibrate?
- Where can I make a small shift that makes a big impact?
This Week’s Invitation:
Take 10 minutes today and create two columns in a journal or notes app:
What’s Working | What’s Not
Write freely. Be honest. Be kind.
Then ask yourself: “What’s one small change I’m willing to make this week to realign with what matters most?”
Small awareness = big impact.
That’s the power of an honest inventory.
